Engineer Md. Atiqur Rahman is a distinguished Bangladeshi entrepreneur, industrialist, and corporate leader, recognized for his strategic vision, engineering acumen, and commitment to sustainable value creation. He started his business journey in the year 1983 as Chairman of The Civil Engineers Ltd., a civil and infrastructure development company. He is also ranked among the top entrepreneurs in Bangladesh’s garments sector, with successful ventures in woven garments and sweater manufacturing under STANDARD GROUP.

Graduating with a degree in Civil Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Mr. Rahman built his early career mastering the principles of structure, and long-term durability. It is this foundational mindset that he brought to Standard Plus Limited.

Mr. Rahman also is an honorable member of the board of directors of Jamuna Bank PLC, and he served as its chairman couple of times.
